Checking in and out of hotels is a process that has been the same for as long as anyone cares to remember. In all likelihood, if you checked into a hotel a 100 years ago you would have been asked the same questions and greeted in the same way as when you arrive at a hotel today, almost anywhere in the world. 

 

Personal guest service will always be an integral part of good customer service. But today, smartphones and tablets are used by most guests and this provides hotel owners with great opportunities to cut out the tedious and technical parts of the check-in and check-out process, freeing-up time for personal guest service where it really matters.

 

Digitalizing guest services doesn´t have to be expensive. CHICO can be put in place on the existing IT platform of your hotel, and can also be upgraded to support new features as customers adapt to new technologies like mobile keys and new payment services. 

 

The founders of CHICO have extensive experience in working with hotel on-line check-in/out systems. Between ourselves we have:

1.       Launched the worlds first on line check-out service for a major hotel brand with a total of 160 hotels

2.       Developed and launched a digital check-in/out service (including key distribution) for a start-up hotel brand.

3.       Improved check-in/out services within a charter operator for contracted hotels.
